CBT

CBT- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes hands-on practical approach to problem solving. Its goal is to change patterns of negative thinking behavior that may contribute to life’s difficulties and change the way the client thinks, feels, believes, and behaves.

MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness principles will be incorporated to assist clients become more self-aware of their feelings and emotions in order to help them self-regulate.  Mindfulness helps to develop the ability to be more present in order to re-pattern areas of life where one may feel stuck.

EMDR

EMDR- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is an interactive psychotherapy technique used to relieve psychological stress.  It’s a treatment for trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that allows the client to recall distressing images and utilizing bilateral stimulation.
